Go Julio. It doesn't matter where those 30 saves come from, right?
Everyone here loves Riske but does the Cleveland management must hate him or something. After giving the job to train wreak Wickman and then trying to give the job to train wreak #2 Urbina, it's like they have absolutely no confidence in Riske.

I got both of them and i feel better with Riske, grant it I;m in a holds leage also, so even if he goes back to setup man, im happy. Julio just seems to always get bombed. 0-7 last year, horrendous era & whip.
I've heard that they want to keep Riske from closer because they don't want to have to pay him a lot of money. He's on the books for dirt cheap right now (something like $350,000) and if he pulls out 30 saves, he'd be due a big raise in arbitration.
Once they gave him the role for good last year, he was 8 for 8 so I can't see a lack of confidence as being a factor. Then again, I'm not in the Indians organization, so who knows.
The O's have DeJean too, so if Julio stinks it's not like they don't have options. On the other hand, the Tribe has J. Jimenez. OK, so now I'm just rambling and I will shut up in 3 ... 2 ... 1.

Where did you hear that? Last I heard, even if they got Urbina, they planned on using Riske as their closer. And they didn't even get Urbina, so I'm pretty sure the job is Riske's. And he will have more K's, better ERA, and better WHIP than Julio. Saves should be close. If Riske is the closer all year this one isn't even close, Riske blows Julio away.
