I'm in a 12 team 7x7 (add OBP, TB and IP, Holds) H2H keeper league (10 keepers)...we start 5 SP's and 5 RP's. we also have a Minor League roster to stash away players. Here's my keepers:
Ryan Howard Brandon Phillips Evan Longoria Elvis Andrus Carl Crawford Josh Hamilton Roy Halladay CC Sabathia Ubaldo Jimenez
the last one i'm leaning towards Nelson Cruz over Jose Bautista. I'm hoping to combine one or the other with some of my non keepers (Furcal, Uribe, etc) for draft picks.
Personally I would keep Cruz (yes I know he spends time on the DL each year) and try to capitalize on the big year Bautista had in trade for draft picks. If Cruz puts it all together for a full season he'll have monster numbers while Bautista needs to prove 2010 was for real.
I would agree with the others, but I am more inclined to go with Cruz, and feel Bautista 2010 was a fluke season, ala Brady Anderson and may revert back to his utility inf days.
just wanted to give this a healthy bump as keepers are due Sunday? Still debating between Andrus and Bautista...really worried about Bautista putting up similar #'s as last season. If he doesn't hit the HR is he that much better than what Andrus' long term upside could be?
