Very Unique AL League seeking 2 owners

Postby gfbase » Wed Dec 29, 2010 2:21 pm

1. League has been continuous with core base since 1998, despite the fact that many of us have ever met face-face (or maybe thats why we have lasted so long).
2. Our 10-team, AL-only, head-head points league, was born out of and continues to play in the 1990s AOL Grandstand Fantasy Baseball style of play, in which each head-head matchup is a 3 game series with outcomes based on Total Batting Pts, Total Pitching Pts, Total Combined Pts.
3. The head-head matchups run Mon-Thu, and then Fri-Sun. With each matchup translating to 3 Games in the standings, our style offers a correlation and connection to the way MLB Baseball plays its series that is hard to match in realism and excitement. Every nite of the season your team is in a dogfight. Every game matters thanks to the beauty of the game's design.
4. League is very friendly to newcomers, as we have a serpentine, randomy ordered, nearly-from-scratch draft each year (with the exception of a few prospects).
5. Our level of competition and participation is extremely high. Commish, me, plays in only one league - this one - and takes great pride in presenting a riveting, quality experience for all owners, old and new.
6. We are a money league, 150 to play with at least 5 cash prizes awarded, but the game itself is King.
CCL Grandstand Fantasy Baseball/ where every day of the season counts for every team.
