Former Chicago White Sox closer Bobby Jenks agreed to a two-year, $12 million with the Red Sox, pending a physical, a source told ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney.
Jenks has been told he'll be a set-up man in 2011 and will have a chance to be the closer after Jonathan Papelbon is replaced, the source said.
Jenks became a free agent when he was non-tendered by the White Sox earlier this month
