Funny, one of my guests brought two trays of spring rolls on Christmas and they were delicious. Had pork, prawns, bean sprouts, cilantro, lettuce, carrot, a bit of egg to hold it all in, and served with a nice soy sauce/garlic-based sauce. Really simple and fresh tasting.
Like I said, if you just put nothing but marinated pork in a spring roll, no doubt it'll taste great. It would just be disgusting.
