I love leftover ham from a holiday meal, shaved off the bone, add swiss cheese and mustard, then wrap a couple of slices of good rye bread around it. That is an awesome sandwich.

And yet, it still doesn't compare to a French Dip.

Cole's also has a fine French dip and they have a full service bar, plus the history to boot. Philippe's still has the best dip in town, I think.

Basically ham vs. roast beef. I'm taking ham every day. I love ham so I am biased but I could eat ham sandwiches everyday. Most people look forward to Thanksgiving dinner, I look forward to Easter dinner, ham sandwiching and potato salad. :-L

I was unaware that all ham is salty cured, actually it's not. Ham can be aged, cured, smoked or cooked.
