Nah, I'm still not confident his limited stuff and wildness plays in the majors that well. We'll see though, nice no-hitter last night though.
Where do you stand now on Moore's limited stuff, Vitek, Blackmon, and Tate?
Well, Moore surprisingly added some needed velocity so it looks like I'll be eating crow on that one until/if he falters with the Rays if his velocity falls back down, which I don't anticipate happening anytime soon.
I still believe Vitek has the tools to be a good prospect once he gets accustomed to the move to 3B full time. I firmly believe his skill set will still translate into a fulltime major leaguer. His strike zone judgement needs to be revamped some but he's not bad at anything.
I was dead on with Blackmon. Before his callup, he was having one of the most impressive minor league performances in baseball. He put on a good showing in the majors until he got injured as well. I'll call that one a victory as I'm still a fan of his tools in Coors.
Tate is purely a skill set call based on potential. Tate has all the tools he was drafted with and should that translate, he'll be a monster if he can stay healthy. 2012 could be big breakout for Tate though him eventually playing in SD might temper his fantasy numbers.
We'll see.
