Cole Hamels - didn't even participate.
also Cole does not throw a Sinker
Webb 2, Hamels 0
a ridiculous sinker to go along with a sick hook. to bad it sounds like it's done, you mix in some 90 with those two and... well groundball outs.

I have not been on here for awhile, thus I will apologize if this has been posted already. Can anyone tell me why the Yankees are not seeking the services of C Webb or C. Young? I think it’s worth it for Cashman to explore the possibility. Anyone else agree?

The only reason I can come up with is that the Yanks are scared of Pavano part 2, but since Webb's contract will be nowhere near pavano's I'm not sure what the hold up is (unless his agent somehow indicated that Webb is not interested in NY).
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

I'm curious about this as well. I suppose they could be interested, just not making any noise about it... I wouldn't be surprised if they were to swoop in and snatch one of them up, ala Teixeira...

I guess this is a good alternative. Jeff Francis is no C. Lee, but he will help a rotation that is in bad shape. As of right now C.C and Hughes are the only two that can be trusted. According to Rotoworld:
http://sportsblogs.star-telegram.com/foul_territory/2010/12/rangers-interest-in-brandon-webb-intensifies.html Webb is only looking for a one year deal from Texas. The guy can pitch, the Yankees need to make him an offer.

Mark Prior interview by the NY Daily News
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseb ... njuri.html"I think a lot of people wonder if I'm bitter, but I'm not. I'm blessed to have three healthy kids, a loving family and friends. When I was a rookie, did I have a vision of what my career would be? Absolutely. Has it gone that way? Absolutely not. But that's life. I think I've proved, at least to myself, that I've been able to overcome a lot. I'm looking forward to this next chapter in my career. I knew back then that I was getting to the big leagues, but there are no guarantees at this phase ... Now I'm hoping to turn the page and reclaim my baseball career."
