The only reasonable thing for him to do is slowley start gambling with the chips of smaller denominations. He's gonna neeed the patience of The 40 Year Old Virgin because he shouldn't take a single step inside the Nevada border for at least 5 years. After several hundred million people have cleansed the place, he can start in with the smaller stuff. $5, $10, $25, $50. Carrying no more than 1k in stolen chips at any time.

I'd think about hiring hire someone to cash in the big stuff for a percentage of the profit in about 10 years. At that point, you can reasonably deny knowlege of theft.

I think he's talking about the casino, which is exactly what they'll do. Those chips will be worthless in 48 hours--if not less--and anyone trying to cash in more than a few thousand dollars who doesn't have a good story for how they got it is going to have to answer a lot of questions, I'm sure.

They can change the chips but what is that going to do? There are hundreds of millions worth of those chips already in circulation. Mandalay Bay has been open for a long time. They can't just not accept the older chips because some bandit made of with 1.5 mil.
