Who should get it?

Jonathan Toews - 21 year old best player at the Olympics and wins NHL playoff MVP award as Captain of the Cup Champion Blackhawks
GSP - best ever MMA welterweight - top 2 pfp fighter out there
Christine Nesbitt - gold medal speedskater then hit by a car and still qualified for World Cup
Charles Hamelin - short track speedskater won 2 Olympic gold fighting off dirty Koreans

The Fan is talking about Joannie Rochette and Alexandre Bilodeau, as well. I don't think they should win because that's awarding it on emotion rather than actual accomplishment. So many people to consider, though.

Between the hockey players, most people seem to favour Toews but I think Crosby has clearly been better this year. Which I think is a pretty safe assumption considering he's unanimously considered the best hockey player on the planet. Tempting to go with Votto as well. To win an MVP in a sport in which there are thousands of professional athletes is pretty impressive.
