They also "agreed to terms" with the Red Sox, only to be snatched up by the Yankees in the 11th hour. This "agreement" happened on Wed, here we are on Friday and Epstein still won't say Crawfords name, and we haven't heard one word form Crawford either... Let's pray that the Yanks do get Lee, 'cause if they don't... they will just add 10 million to what Boston offered and do what they do best: pay guys that we want more.

Red Sox signed Carl Crawford to a seven-year, $142 million contract He's passed his physical, making the monster deal official. The 29-year-old Crawford batted .307/.356/.495 this past year with 19 homers and 47 steals for the Rays. He'll be a huge producer for the next 4-5 year, for sure, but we do wondering how effective the speedy Crawford will be towards the end of this contract, and his inability to hit left-handed pitching often goes overlooked. Still, he obviously is another huge weapon in what will be a stacked Red Sox lineup.

And yet another case of a person resorting to a personal attack when faced with actual logic.
You consider someone jokingly calling you a "green monster" during a conversation about playing left field in Fenway a "personal attack"? Why so sensitive?
