Damn the AL East. I don't want to see any more complaining from Red Sox fans about the Yankees buying championships.
The Red Sox have become who they despise the most. It will be even sweeter when the Yanks kick their @ss

Surprised he didn't get 8 years. Still, way too much money for a guy that isn't an elite hitter and relies so heavily on his legs for his value, but of course it makes the Red Sox a hell of a lot better.

This is still a better use of money that giving a 32 old pitcher, a 6 year, 140 million, contract... Just saying. Or giving Jason Worth 7 years.

Werth. The Red Sox can carry the tail end of this contract, like Yankees can carry Jeter for three years at $ 51 million.

Werth deal is definetly worse, I was even saying in the werth thread if you are the nats and willing to spend all that and 7 years.at that point why dont you just spend a little more and get Crawford. Crawford is younger and more proven. Never want to see that much money thrown around ut Sox set their record on payroll last year so might as well be on studs. As long as they dont have the highest payroll.. HAHA
