In terms of real fantasy value though, who has he jumped with this move? How many spots in ADP is that?

Before this move 1B was looking like:
Pujols/MCab/Votto (1/2/3)
Tex (10/11)
AGon (15-17)
Prince/Howard (20+)

Afterwards it's pretty much the same, isn't it? Maybe AGon is about even with Tex, somewhere around 10-12, but then it's more about how highly you rank the pitchers in that range than anything else.

I honestly think this has zero fantasy impact at this point. Sure, his stats will get a boost, but the value you're paying for him in a draft/auction is nearly the same.

Gonzalez' road stats x2 and then averaged over the last three years:

Runs: 112
HR: 47
RBI: 128
BA: .310

Not sure why that wouldn't be a reasonable baseline for him (as crazy as it sounds) assuming he stays healthy and that he does no worse at Fenway than on the road (which seems like a safe assumption).

Obviously the balky shoulder and the switch to a new league will/might work against him a bit, but being in a better lineup will provide him with more Run and RBI opportunities.

Dude is gonna own the green monster, he can flip his wrists and hit it out to left in Petco, hes gonna be a monster, I truly expect him to surpass Votto this year, and be equal to Pujols minus the steals.

he hit .407 which was best in baseball with runners in scoring position

problem was the guys hitting in front of him hit a collective .300 obp.

Im not sure where he will hit in the Sox lineup but if its cleanup with Ellsbury, Pedroia and Youkilis in front of him I expect 140+rbis and 45 hrs in that park, and those are conservative numbers.

I expect him to hit 3rd, which will hurt Youks rbi no's cause Gonzo cant score from 2nd on a 1b or 1st on a 2b. What remains to be seen is how he plays in the spotlight day in and out.

now just imagine if they add Crawford to hit 2nd instead of Ellsbury at the top and Jacoby drops to 9th. I tried to get him all off-season, knowing Boston would be the landing spot, but the owner wouldnt sell.

Whats Youk's value now that he keeps 3B elig?
