Even with the abundance of first basemen that will be available for you on draft day, you would be wise to not let AGon slip by you. Given what we've all seen him do in the worst possible park for left handed hitters, and with ZERO protection, the fact that this talent now plays half his games at Fenway vaults him into Pujols, Miggy, Votto territory. Even with a modest boost to his career splits, you're looking at .300 100 40 120 5. The .BA is what has me the most intruiged. Those years of .275 came as a result of him only notching 2-3 AB out of 6 plate appearances. With line-up protection, it is rational to project that he will hit in the .300+ range. We still need to see the exact form of that protection, namely whether Crawford is added or if they pull the trigger on Justin Upton. However, even as it stands now: Pedrioa, Youk, and Ortiz put to shame the guys he had around him before. Sooooo..... here's my updated top tier 1B rankings. 1. Pujols 2. Miggy 3. Gonzalez 4. Votto 5. Teixeira 6. Howard 7. Fielder I say this moves Gonzo's ADP to the 7-9 range. Let's here some thoughts... especially you Yankee fans who like to throw dirt on everything I post.
His HR spray chart is all over the field; he actually has more oppo homers than pull homers. It would be interesting to see if he's a bad enough dude to become a pull hitter for Fenway's short porch.
Rocinante2: you know Rocinante2: its easy to dismiss the orioles as a bad team ofanrex: go on Rocinante2: i'm done Rocinante2: lmao

Hence my excitement. This truly does have series fantasy implications regarding his ADP. Last year I totally called Beltre being the best value at 3B, because of his switch to Fenway. And no, it wasn't a homer call. I went over his numbers and realized that when he wasn't hitting at Safeco, he was a .300 hitter. Petco does to a lefty what Safeco does to a righty. Fenway is the cure all to these ailments, and the fact that Gonzo hits to the opposite field on the reg....

Typically, any supporter of tearing down Fenway park is a Yankee fan. Could be a O's, Jays, or Ray's fan also. If it's none of the above then I'm not sure I get the hatred.
