Will Tim Salmon be like 2000 or 2001?

Just wondering what you think Tim Salmon will be like this year?

Last year he only hit 17 hrs and 49 Rbi, but in 2000 he was a 30+, 100+ RBI. Is he worth picking up and dropping someone in my outfield? I have

A repeat of 2000 may be a bit too much to hope for, but Salmon's healthy again and has looked good lately. I'd drop Burnitz, who seems to be going downhill fast, for him.

I have Garett Anderson and David Exckstein. If I pick up Tim Salmon that means I'll have 3 Angels in the outfields and utility (Eckstein). Is this a bad thing? Right now it's hard because Tim Salmon is the best outfielder available to pick up.

Also, when David Justice gets back, should I drop Danny Bastista? He's out for 10 days anyways. Thanks.

Well, the Angels won't be the best offensive team by a long shot, but if Salmon is the best guy available, I wouldn't worry too much about where he plays.

Bautista may be out for a while - keep an eye on this situation. If you have a dl, he could be there for a while. If not, and if he's set to miss significant time, pick up Justice.

Do you think Salmon will get 30+ hr's and 90+ RBI's like Burnitz will this year? He will probably have a better batting avg. than Burnitz. Salmon or Burnitz?

I'd give Salmon the nod. I'd be interesting in hearing what others think, though...
