Voting is done before the playoffs, isn't it?
Also I think it's hard to really justify giving any substantial award to a relief pitcher, but Feliz was the #2 closer in the AL this season behind Soria, and Jackson was the #4 CF, well behind the leader Josh Hamilton. Obviously Jackson was more valuable to his team, but there's a weird fixation on saves as being worth anything and that skews the votes. Can't argue with Posey getting it over Heyward, though. Maybe it's not fair to pro-rate his numbers as if he'd played a whole season, but he's neck and neck with McCann for WAR per game. Could have gone either way, though.
