I can't believe this guy is still talking. After wrveres' discovery, you'd think he'd be too embarrassed to show up by now. :-b

I can't believe any of you are still talking :-°

I used to heart Manny when he was the heart of the Red Sox order and was mashing, but his inconsistent effort and attitude and "Manny being Manny" act got tired near the end. We told LA that's what they were getting, and sure enough the loved him at first but got tired of his act soon enough. Don't see how that's so hard to believe that many fans have a what have you done for me lately attitude? Overall though Manny's Pro (bat) outweighed his Con (everything else) but it must be worse in the locker room, where fans don't really care.

Gap ... You have to expect that Yankees to end up with at least on the above players, if Texas signs Lee expect them to go all in on Crawford. If Crawford signs first, Lee's wife to have to be talked into being spit on and sworn at 80 times a year for 8 years, but $140+ million talks.

I for one would welcome a one year incentive-laden deal bringing Manny to Toronto. I think we could have the horses to enter a playoff race in 2011, and there's not much to lose if it doesn't pan out. They could probably trade some prospects for a couple decent closer candidates - guys like Putz, Belisle, Betancourt, or even Benoit. Or hell, bring back Frasor and Downs if nothing is available, although that would be costly - 4 top 50 picks, essentially. Could be a fun year, and it's good to have somebody like AA that you can trust to be active and making shrewd moves.

doesn't sound like a good idea for cleveland.. sounds to me like Grady and Manny sitting on the bench talking to Choo about the pros of nursing a hammy..

I'm weeping here. Uncontrollable sobs. This would be so freaking terrible it's unspeakable.

Attention Dave Dombrowski: I've underlined the above moves which I would find "acceptable".

Everything not underlined would be an f'ing travesty, and I'd rather Illitch save his money for the Pistons/Redwings than throw it away.

If either of Werth or VMart ends up on the Tigers next year, I'm not going to be the least bit happy.

I understand VMart, as he is one of the biggest defensive liabilities behind the plate I have ever seen, but why the animosity towards a player of Werth's caliber? Just curious... lol

that dudes a poser. he obviously visited San Diego for a colonoscopy convention or something, and took in a game down the street.

a real padre fan would never allow himself to be photographed in blue, because real padre fans know that the padres don't wear blue. its the color reserved for the hated enemy, and some jerk hollywood owner played a practical joke on san diego a decade ago, and stole our identity.
