except you would get completely swarmed by zombies and even if they couldnt rip off the helmet or clothes you would eventually die of suffocation or dehydration.

This got a great write-up in one of the Entertainment magazines recently and I just realized that its writer is the same guy who wrote Shawshank Redemption and the Green Mile (two of my favorites), so i definitely plan on catching up and watching season 2 ;-D

Yep. Norman Reedus. Although they say he's guest starring at the beginning of each show so I'm not sure for how long he'll be around...

I was griping to my wife about this. If I had to set up an anti-zombie defensive position somewhere just outside Atlanta, I think I'm picking the museum on top of stone mountain. Hard to get to for zombies (cliffs/nearly encircling lake), fairly remote, and great field of fire.

A pet peeve of mine. Judging from the last episode, things went bad something like 4-5 months ago? Streets are clear, cars aren't rusting... but they insist on putting guys in settings like that abandoned factory the Hispanic group was in, or using the old journal constitution building (http://www.flickr.com/photos/31174499@N00/511713407) which has been abandoned for decades. It gives a much more post-apocalyptic look, but it doesn't match the plot line.

Love, love, love the show. But I thought the finale was a pretty big letdown. I don't know what I wanted or expected, but I just thought it was kinda meh. :-?

Ya, they needed more zombie killings.

Anyway, I am really enjoying the show. I've entered the contest at the end of each show to get to be a "walk-on zombie", but so far no luck.
