BRISTOL, Conn. (AP)—Jon Miller and Joe Morgan are out as announcers on ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball” after 21 seasons.
“Over the last two decades, Joe went from Hall of Fame player to one of his sport’s top analysts and Jon’s Hall of Fame voice and tremendous knowledge of the game have connected with baseball fans everywhere,” ESPN executive vice president Norby Williamson said in a statement Monday. “We owe them our deepest thanks for an outstanding body of work.”
The network did not announce replacements.
LOL What a shame I don't have ESPN any more

now if only FOX gets rid of buck and mccarver.
I had two HD feeds for the World Series games, and with my luck, I got to choose between Rick Sutcliffe and Tim McCarver. Jon Miller would have been a blessing. Hopefully he lands somewhere.
i hate mccarver more than morgan. mccarver just spews so much hatred it's difficult to watch the game. the guy has serious hate issues, after listening to vin scully for so long, i can't take in that nonsense.

He'll probably stick with doing the Giants games all year long now. Good news for us Giants fans.
