I am in a 12-team, mixed, H2H, 5x5 keeper league where you can keep up to 10 players, no other keeper restrictions (essentially top 120 are kept). Positions are c,1b,2b,ss,3b,of,of,of,util. Here are the potential keepers from my squad:
I've put to the right of whoever I am currently planning on keeping. I used to have such a man crush on Aramis and given how shallow 3b is, I am tempted to keep him. Thoughts? Also, what do you think of drafting Mike Moustakas this year as my future everyday 3b?
2nd base is very deep this coming season, I'm not sure you really need to keep Beckham as your 10th player. The same can probably be said for my choice of Greinke; as SP is also overflowing with choices but to me he's a better keeper than Beck. Mike Moustakas will be a popular later round pick next spring, however he's probably looking at the 1st 2 months in the minors at least. I was hoping for a healthy season from A Ram in 2010 & kept him in several leagues where we keep less than you do; I won't be going there again & you shouldn't either. Beckham isn't a bad pick, but with your league only starting 12 & there being 15 or 16 decent choices I'd wait a few rounds and hold last years Cy Young winner (who has a real good chance at being traded)instead
