As a Yankees fan you should know if Hughes turns out to be nothing but a 5th starter than its a epic fail. Eiland was promoted from AAA because of the success of Joba, Ian Kennedy, and Phil Hughes. RIght now two of them are busts, and Hughes had regression. Cashman brought down the hammer. Funny how as a Yankee fan you are blind to all this? Hughes' development as a SP was heavily stunned this year. FB 80%+ of the time on a 0-2 count is a absolutely pathetic.
Epic Fail of a Yankee fan right there for you.
What does this have to do with anything I said? I was under the impression that you wanted/knew Joba would be the #5 at season's beginning, but Hughes did turn out to be the better option, yes?
Reply with all the snark and sarcasm you want to make you look cool
Wait, Dash is chastising someone else for being snarky and sarcastic? Lulz man, lulz. Total epic fail.
but if you are happy with how Phil's season went
A 24 year old with a 90 inning jump from the previous season? I'm not happy with it (don't know how you pulled that out of what I said...), but I'm encouraged for his future endeavors.
your nuts
I hear they're a big hit with the ladies.

I'll take this to you over PM. Any fan that is okay with the number one prospective in all of baseball two years ago is confused.
"So what he was a number 1 prospect, he was a great numb 5 starter!!!"
WINNNNNNN

Jay Bruce is a #5 starter
Comparing Hitters to Pitchers. Fail. Yikes... I expected more from you? Seriously a power hitter to a pitcher? Wow...

In another effort to get this thread back on track:
-I'm looking for the dates different pre-season rankings will be out. (yahoo, espn...) -I don't need rankings now, I need to know which ones will be out the earliest and when. -I know things change after the pre-season rankings come out. -I didn't own Phil Hughes or Jay Bruce on any of my teams.

You've once again ignored any point I've made and put words in my mouth. Here's what I said, and nothing more:
1. Hughes was a better choice than Joba for the 5 spot.
2. I'm hoping Hughes can build on this season and continue to progess as a starter.
If you have a decent counterpoint to either of those things, feel free to share. I'm sure we'll instead get an argument about nothing involving a lot of extra large fonts and 13 year old girl text talk. Oh well...

From 1 of my CBS commish leagues: On Tuesday, November 16th, we will have a scheduled maintenance period to update your league to the 2011 season They normally have rankings at the same time with the new product
