CBS says it will archive the 2010 season on Nov 2nd, those buying the commish product should have the rankings & projections right after that. Seems like they were quite a bit earlier than anyone else last year I must not be using the diamond draft site correctly. They had Stubbs in the top 10 hitters at least a dozen spots ahead of Cano when I tried to put in my leagues settings. At least its something to look at & you get an idea who they think will have good seasons. I was hoping 1 of the good posters here might have their own top 300 list out; I'm really interested in seeing where guys like Ellsbury, Sizemore & Pedroia end up

What about others? (espn, cbs...)
What about magazines or websites?
I'm looking for the first set of rankings for all players. Thanks in advance.
How about letting the playoffs finish first...
How about minding your own business?
Totally not trying to be a jerk here but you did start a thread asking the question so I threw in my opinion...
I just think it's a little early to be worrying about rankings...anything you see right now will change a million times before it comes to draft day. You might be better served putting together your own rankings and then adjusting them as "published" rankings come out...

I believe you're using it correctly, however, it's VERY early and you'll see crazy stuff like Stubbs in the top 10 ahead of Cano. As the off season progresses, you'll notice changes in the projections which will balance out closer to the start of the season. We use this as our source to determining our keeper/auction prices in my money league. I do use other sources along with diamnddraft for projections though.
Also, I don't remember if I noted it or not, but you can also adjust your league settings like number of teams and what categories you want to use and AL, NL or Mix. That also affects the price of the players.

I didn't start a thread asking about your opinion. I started a thread asking about dates that different fantasy ratings come out. You have no idea why I need these dates.

Wow, really, things will change before draft day.
Love the sarcasm...really well played....good luck finding your rankings
I definitely don't qualify as one of the 'good posters' around here, but I am working on my own rankings for next year. This is the first year I've tried to do it, and I'm quickly learning that it is a tall task. All in all I've spent about 10 hours or so projecting players and then quantifying those projections into a numerical value which can then be ranked. I've only done 150 or so guys right now and intend to do another 200...But I have a full-time job and am a HS basketball coach, so I don't think I'll be able to get them together until December. Also, I'm customizing to my league which uses OBP, Hits, SLG%, CG, QS, and K/9 as extra categories...
My motivation for this was the guy w/ the KC Royals logo J353 I believe his username was. he put together an awesome spreadsheet that helped me a bunch. Also, I think a guy with a mets logo...rookiesncream (?) did some good stuff last year as well. If I had to guess it didn't come out until mock drafting heated up towards January. I guess what Mr. Red Sox is saying is that you may want to wait a while for some rankings that are trustworthy. My experience has been that the first ones out are not always offering the best advice.
