Over the course of three weeks, 30 FLA representatives will visit two Foxconn factories in Shenzhen, China and one in Chengdu. The inspectors plan to interview 35,000 workers in groups of 30 at a time, asking them to fill out surveys on Apple iPads.
"Hey, just ignore the blood of 17 of your former co-workers on those iPads as you fill out our survey which our president has already publicly come to a conclusion over"
Basically this Public Safety minister is lobbying to pass another invasive bill (Bill C-30) in Canada which would make it easier for police and spy agencies to access information about internet users. His platform is that if you don't support the bill, you are essentially supporting child pronographers.
Obviously some people (even those who don't condone child pornography) think that privacy is an important thing. One guy got his hands on the minister's public court records of the minister's divorce and has been posting them on twitter to try to make him understand the importance of privacy even if you're not doing anything sinister.
Among other things, he preaches the importance of marriage and family values and then cheats on his wife with multiple women then fails to pay child support while she is taking care of their kids.

let's talk about actual Canadian laws, like bieng illegal to water your lawn in the rain, or making it illegal to shoot a big foot, illegal to climb a tree, or to remove a band aid in public.
You can mock a couple of stupid politcos for their dumb comments, but the Communists north of the border actually got together and passed these laws.
And lastly, do they really have grass police in Canada? Guys that go around and mow your lawn if it's longer than two inches, and then fine you?

How would you see the grass? I thought everything in Canada was under a foot of snow all the time.

I'm a Canuck. Never heard of any of those laws. Nice try though. It is illegal to carry open water over a sidewalk in winter however. Makes sense.

No.
Actually those are laws in and around parts of Canada. The only one I couldn't get a definite on was the grass police, and that's why I asked.
