Michelle Bachmann compares herself to serial killer

In an interview Sunday in front of the Waterloo, Iowa, home where she lived until the age of 12, Bachmann misspoke as she stated her hope that Iowans accept her as a native.

"I want them to know just like John Wayne is from Waterloo Iowa, that's the spirit I have too," Bachmann said. "It's embracing America. It's sacrificing for America."

After that sound bite played on FOX News Channel, fans of the late actor called the news station to point out that John Wayne was born 150 miles away in Winterset, Iowa. It was serial killer John Wayne Gacy -- known as the Killer Clown -- who lived and worked in Waterloo.

The liberal press in all 57 states is all prepared to headline every single gaffe coming from any Republican. Maybe Bachman should just take to reading prepared speech from a teleprompter Instead. Of course then you'd demand to see all her emails.

btw, what ever happened to that? So much build up by the liberal media, for weeks, CNN even cut in live to reporters sitting in a room in Alaska reading emails .... and then ... nothing ...... ;-7

I wasn't a political thing. I truly have no idea who Bachmann is, never heard of her before. I just thought that it was funny. :-b

Woman Declared Dead By Doctors, Wakes Up In Her Coffin Being Prepared For Burial, Has A Heart Attack And Dies For Real
A woman died from a heart attack caused by shock after waking up to discover she had been declared dead – and was being prepared for burial. As mourning relatives filed past her open coffin the supposedly dead woman suddenly woke up and started screaming as she realised where she was. Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, 49, had been wrongly declared deceased by doctors but died for real after hearing mourners saying prayers for her soul to be taken up to heaven in Kazan, Russia. Devastated husband Fagili Mukhametzyanov, 51, had been told his wife had died of a heart attack after she’d collapsed at home suffering from chest pains. Mr Mukhametzyanov said: ‘Her eyes fluttered and we immediately rushed her back to the hospital but she only lived for another 12 minutes in intensive care before she died again, this time for good. ‘I am very angry and want answers. She wasn’t dead when they said she was and they could have saved her.’ Hospital spokesman Minsalih Sahapov said: ‘We are carrying out an investigation.’

Daily Mail (or the Sun) + Russia = Reasonable doubt to the validity of this story

are you expecting a response to that?

Mook. she is a mother of 5. a foster mother to over 20 other kids, a successful attorney, and she founded one of the first charter schools in the US geared towards at risk children. And she drives the left crazy. Google her, and you'll see them calling her things like whore and slut ... typical left wing politics. Heck, just this weekend a Washington Post reporter called her a "Barbie with Fangs" ...

Could Shakespeare's Bones Tell Us if He Smoked Pot?

A South African anthropologist has asked permission to open the graves of William Shakespeare and his family to determine, among other things, what killed the Bard and whether his poems and plays may have been composed under the influence of marijuana.

I didn't read the rest but it's a great headline. :-b

i wouldn't be surprised. Hemp was a major cash crop back in the day. George Washington used to grow it.

A driver who hit a pedestrian along Interstate 45 in southeast Houston early this morning didn’t stop even though the victim smashed through his windshield and landed in the front passenger seat, officials said. Police said a man was driving his Ford Explorer on the freeway when it broke down. He pulled to the shoulder and got out and began trying to cross the freeway. The man was hit by a black Mazda, driven by Onak, police said. Police said the collision forced the victim’s body through the windshield, and he landed in the front passenger seat inside the car. Onak did not stop after the collision, police said. Police said he allegedly got off the freeway and drove a few blocks before a Precinct 8 Harris County Constable pulled him over at 11600 Kirkvalley near Beamer, and the deputy noticed the car’s front was damaged. Then the deputy saw the victim in the car, police added.
Police said Onak told the deputy he had hit something on the freeway and that he didn’t know the victim was in the passenger seat beside him. Onak was believed to be under the influence and a mandatory blood draw was taken.
