I watched the clips of the other reporters who experienced something similar, and after re-watching his vid, I think he was indeed experiencing something other than just nerves. That was just way to garbled. I know in the other vid with the two female reporters they mention possible stroke and epileptic episode as the cause, but I don't think that's what happened to this guy. I'm thinking it was some sort of stress induced Wernicke's aphasia, where it was in fact a severe case of nerves that made him unable to extract the proper words. I mean he really looks like he knows what he's saying, that the words he is speaking are the same ones he's intending to speak. Same deal with the first female reporter in the other vid, I don't think she had any idea that the words she was saying were different than the words she intended to say. The 2nd female reporter was different, she knew that the words coming out of her mouth were not the words she intended to speak.
Damage to Brocca's and Wernicke's is a trip.
