You know, kind of a preventative thing that tries to actually solve the issues instead of putting a cyanide bandaid on all the ugly sores that come about from a messed-up society. Just a suggestion. Ah, that's for pussies, right? It's more fun to just kill people we don't like, cuz they deserve it! RARRR!!! U-S-A!
And your suggestion would be.... ? It's pretty easy to play Snidely Wisepants and crack on the folks tossing out real suggestions. Where are your suggestions that would actually solve the problem?
Got an invasive species? Combat it with a cookbook.
The Key Largo-based REEF conservation organization has just released "The Lionfish Cookbook," a collection of 45 recipes which is the group's latest strategy to counter an invasion of the non-native reddish brown-striped fish in Florida waters.
As someone who lived in Key Largo for several years diving, fishing, and volunteering my time for conservatory/preservation efforts this is defninitely one of the more creative ways I've seen to deal with what is very much a menace to marine life and industry in general in the area. I'm rather curious to see what they taste like.
