I don't know if this is against forum rules or not, but if it is, I would be fine with this thread being shut down. However, I had some one contact me from this board and they joined our league for the 2010 season. He constantly said that league fees were on the way and then never sent them. I understand that I shouldn't have just trusted him, but I wanted to believe that he was being honest. I just wanted to warn you if he contacts you to join your league.

If he does join your league, make sure that you collect any league fees before the season.

What he did was wrong, but that should be a lesson to you also. Get all money before the season starts.

I will from now on. I admit that I wanted to believe him and accept his actions as honest. It just sucks and if I can help others avoid getting burned, I will.

If I've played with the guy before and he's been good with sending money in, I give them some flexability in sending the money. If it's a newbee, the cash must be in 1 week prior to the sart of the season. If he doesn't pay, that gives you 1 week to find a replacement.
