You could be great, but you've got a ton of risk. The pitching is, obviously, excellent - but I don't trust Randy.

I would try to dish for a reliever (Nen makes me nervous) and a stud outfielder. Drew is by no means a sure thing, and Burrell is in the same case. Ensberg is an awesome 3b - I'd package him and Randy Johnson, and try to get back someone like Lance Berkman and Octavio Dotel.

I do agree that my offense needs a little more tweaking. I do defnitely have some question marks. Everything I have read on Johnson says he is healthy and throwing great which I'm hoping is true. Drew is having a great Spring so far so I'm hoping he can carry that over and the big question is can he stay healthy.

Right now I am trying to swing a couple of trades for an OF with good HR numbers and I would like to add one more good closer.
Since I have two SS I am trying to package something with Cabrera to upgrade in the outfield. Closers I never worry too much about. You can always seem to find one along the way.

Thanks for the feedback.

While it's true that your OF needs work, it's not too bad if Pods can come close to last years numbers.

Quite frankly, I'd trade Tejada before Cabrera. Perception is all that matters. Their numbers shouldn't be too different and you should be able to get a lot more for Tejada.

I'm just curious, though. What were your first 6 picks? How did you get Prior, Pedro, RJ, Tejada, Chavez, and Oswalt?

My first 6 picks were Randy Johnson, Mark Prior, Mike Piazza, Mark Sweeney, Eric Chavez, Javy Lopez.

I picked up K. Brown in the 7th and Oswalt in the 8th. I've made several trades as well.

I traded Kevin Brown and Mike Piazza for Pedro Martinez and Mark Mulder.

Then I turned around and traded Mulder for Tejada.

I have also traded Raul Ibanez for Octavio Dotel.

I guess overall I just got lucky to be in the right league. Never had a draft go quite so well. :-b

I just don't understand why Tom Glavine would be there. Rest of the pitchers look great.

So far Glavine is having a great spring. I'm hoping maybe he can have a bounce back season. I'm going to watch him at the beginning and see how he does. If he stinks it up then I'll drop him and grab someone else.

Just wanted to correct a typo. I said Mark Sweeney earlier. That should be Mike Sweeney.

nice team,( oswalt that late)you have 2 really good 3basemen, i think ensberg will put the better #s up this year, stud in progress, therefore i think u can trade chavez, and get a banger outfielder, IMO, by the looks of your team and some of the positions u got the peeps u got, Ithink u are also in a very weak league, gl u could be all alone
If there is baseball in heaven!!!! Be very aware of the starting lineup
