I'm curious... 2 things.
#1 - Why do things halfway? I mean if you want to see things happen that natural human beings can't naturally do, why not use robots or play a video game? Robots can throw faster, hit farther, etc. and in most video games, it's easy to put up crazy stats for a season. So what's the purpose of doing it halfway with players on PED's?
#2 - Don't you typically try to eliminate "luck" when comparing players, stats, etc? Using human beings only adds luck into the mix, which is the opposite of what you typically do, so wouldn't using robots or simulators be more accurate instead of using human players?
Combine those two and I really don't understand how you can take the position of being in favor of PED's in baseball.
Help?

I remember when the forums were fun because the trolls were banned. Times change. *shrug*
*Note - not calling you (or anyone) a troll. Just pointing something out.
P.S. How sad is it that disclaimers are needed so much nowadays? Ick.
kthxby!

Toking up every now and then is not OK, whereas a chosen path to emphysema, lung cancer, and all that is OK. Which causes the greater harm? Interesting, that.
So the answer is to legalize even more things that are unhealthy?

While I fully agree with the statement I quoted, good luck trying to convince Americans nowadays that it is true.

Oh yeah....
Kudos to the Rangers.
First postseason win.
First postseason series win.
First ALCS Championship.
First trip to the World Series.
Didn't win the series, but still a very nice year that I'll happily live with.
Fantastic pitching performance in the World Series by the Giants. Congrats guys.
And for what it is worth, I had the World Series being Philly and Texas. Philly was a lock as far as I was concerned (oops!

), and as long as Texas got by Tampa, neither the Yanks nor Minny was going to stop them.
Anyway, there were some awesome playoff games to watch this year.
But now it is all over.
How much longer until the season starts?

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
