I failed to see the same medical study you did on the connection between plastic surgery and life expectancy. Please enlighten me by providing a link.

pretty sure people die during plastic surgery (as is the risk with any surgery) which therefore lowers life expectancy. also there's the possibility of anorexia and bulimia in girls who put themselves under the pressure to look as good as models, actresses, etc.

Are you joking here? There are tens of thousands of people who have died due to direct complications from plastic surgery. There aren't tens of thousands of people. Or even hundreds of people, who have died from direct complications of steroids.

Considering I embrace PED use in baseball, why do you think I would care?

I'm curious... 2 things.

#1 - Why do things halfway? I mean if you want to see things happen that natural human beings can't naturally do, why not use robots or play a video game? Robots can throw faster, hit farther, etc. and in most video games, it's easy to put up crazy stats for a season. So what's the purpose of doing it halfway with players on PED's?

#2 - Don't you typically try to eliminate "luck" when comparing players, stats, etc? Using human beings only adds luck into the mix, which is the opposite of what you typically do, so wouldn't using robots or simulators be more accurate instead of using human players?

Combine those two and I really don't understand how you can take the position of being in favor of PED's in baseball.

Chain smoking, while unhealthy and frowned upon by most people is still tolerated under law whereas recreational use of say, marijuana is outlawed (unless for medicinal purposes, of course). Toking up every now and then is not OK, whereas a chosen path to emphysema, lung cancer, and all that is OK. Which causes the greater harm? Interesting, that.

So the answer is to legalize even more things that are unhealthy?

But all personal rights have a limit.
