YOUR PHILADELPHIA PHILLIESMy thoouugghtttsssss:
- NYY haven't got 3 usable play off SPs. Hughes has been belted in the 2nd half. MIN could win that series if they get a few lucky breaks.
- Tampa's starting pitchers haven't been very amazing this year, Texas should be able to out-pitch them as a group.
- That SF/PHI series looks good on paper, but I have a gut feeling that PHI will rip them to shreds.

Cafe bets 2010:
W/j24jags - Oakland A's more wins then NYM
W/mweir145 - Oakland A's more wins then TOR (hat-trick?)

I think the Braves are being underrated. Heyward, Lee, McCann have big bats. Also the SP is very deep here and the bullpen is very well crafted.

I had a similar prediction, except ATL beats SF. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks TEX will make some noise. Vlad/Hamilton/Cruz are a formidable offensive trio and Lee/Lewis/Wilson are a solid top three.

A few months ago I drunkenly predicted SF vs. TEX to a buddy, so I'll have to stick to that
As long as NYY / PHI aren't in it, I'll be happy

interesting.. TB getting no world series love and Cincinnati getting no love what so ever..
What I'd like to see - '91 world series rematch - Twins over Braves..
What I think I'll see - Rays over Giants.
