Hey guys Phil is out for the year!
This is what i got from the Fanball Staff.
Padres outfielder Phil Nevin will undergo surgery to repair his severely dislocated left shoulder on Tuesday and will very likely miss the 2003 season. "It has to be put back together," Nevin told the San Diego Union-Tribune Saturday night. "It has to be fixed. It'll happen again and again and again if I don't get it fixed." Nevin said he already needed the shoulder capsule tightened before suffering the dislocation. He injured his shoulder while making a diving catch during their March 7 Cactus League game against the White Sox.
