they've already renewed it for a 2nd season

Yeah and Deadwood made it 3 and Carnivale only 2 seasons. I hope it lasts because it looks really cool, but I have my doubts it will.

Of the top of my head, homeruns by HBO: Not Necessarily the News, Tales From the Crypt, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Big Love, Entourage, True Blood, Eastbound and Down, Rome, Deadwood, Carnivale, Da Ali G Show, The Wire, Band of Brothers, Oz, Tenacious D....uh, that's all I can think of right now. Yeah HBO rarely fails.
