really like what I've seen from Carlos Carrasco so far; although he's about to go over 40 innings so he might not last as long on your prospect roster if that matters

Actually that is a good point, Carrasco I couldn't bury in prospects next year, which is what I am looking for ...

Britton is a no-brainer.

After that I think it depends on your team make-up. If you're weaker in the middle infield, scoop up a middle infielder. If you don't have much behind the plate, maybe grab Mesoraco or Sanchez. etc. I wouldn't grab Montgomery - don't think he has much of a ceiling and he's a Royal ugh - at least Lamb has high upside. And I definitely wouldn't grab Singleton - With Howard in town and a newly signed extension Philly is a place 1B prospects go to die (see Mayberry).

Good luck. Help with mine? viewtopic.php?t=419502

Thanks, I was thinking Britton would be #1 , maybe not tons of Strikeouts but fantastic GB rate .. position isn't an issue as I am pretty even all the way through so highest ceiling at their peak is probably the way I would go ...

Montgomery, Miller & Lamb are all in my top 16 prospects. I really like Franklin and can't imagine what kind of ridiculous numbers he'll put up at High Dessert next year. He's too far away in a league with shallow minors. Mesoraco has a lot of upside as a power hitting C and should be in the majors next year. Only take Britton or Carrasco if you're looking for potential immediate help, not long term value. Turner is just behind Miller, both are years away from the majors. I think Singleton's overrated because of his huge 1st half. Even so, he's far from ideal for your setup because he's a long way away and will have to keep mashing as a 1B only prospect. I would've liked to see if Sanchez could've kept hitting for a full year, but the unfortunate injury left some question marks. Going into the year I felt he was a better in real life than fantasy baseball type because of his defense and relatively high floor.

LOL at whoever said Montgomery has no upside. Even though there's little traffic, you'd get better answers on this question in the minor league thread.
