Kolb saved 21 games and posted a great Whip/ERA/K's in the 41 innings he pitched. He did all this after taking over the job in mid July... What can an owner expect of him for a full season? Is 35 saves unrealistic on a weak Mil team? I assume his job is fairly safe since there is no other proven closer on the team.

he has a pretty safe job but I give him a conservative 25 saves for the season.

I'm hoping for thirty-five. He's the only major leaguer born in my hometown!!!! I have to root for him. I hope he wins the rolaids relief award. Fat chance i know but wierder things have happened!

I think the Brewers are an 80 win team this year. Barring injury, I see no reason why Kolb can't record 35-40 saves.

80 games!?!?!?!?!?!? pass that joint bro!
they'll win 65-70. but kolb will get 40 saves since they will all be 1-2 run wins.

OK... 30-40 saves seems out of hand. How would you then rank my closers, and who has the most value in a trade? I just got Rivera for Nen/Willis and wonder if I have too many closers.
M Rivera
Kolb
A Rhodes

Very nice trade for Rivera, but you can lose Kolb if you want. Get another quality starter in there.

I like that trade a lot
I'd go for about 30, possibly 35 saves for Kolb with good ERA & WHIP.
