From ESPN.com -
Drabek will be called up to make his major league debut on Wednesday against Baltimore, reports the Blue Jays' official site.
Spin:
John Lott of the National Post also reports that Drabek will remain in the rotation for the remainder of the season. He will make three starts, and with his talent and that opportunity, he might be worth a look in standard formats if you have a pitching hole to fill.
I figure he's slated to get a start @ Baltimore, another at home vs. Seattle next week, and maybe one more at home against the Yankees the last week of the season...In AA this year he's got a 2.97 ERA in 162 innings and a 132:69 ratio. I squeaked into the playoffs with the 6th seed and I'm seriously considering a gusty pickup for the stretch run...I think he could be serviceable against Baltimore, and the matchup next week is top notch. Anyone think he's worthy down the stretch, when guys like Homer Bailey, Fausto Carmona, Randy Wolf, and Nick Blackburn are the only ones left on the wire?
