I'm a huge Yankee fan too.

The huge Yankee fan doesn't like the fact that Jackson is only the seventh player since 1960 to have 160 hits, 90 runs, 30 doubles and 20 steals all while playing excellent defense (although I noticed his UZR has fallen quite a bit in the second half which surprised me bigtime). Glad to have taken him off New York's hands since he was such an overrated prospect. ;-7

That being said, he should regress next year almost.....his BABIP is like third or fourth highest in history right now. :-b

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, MR FRED LEWIS!
(crowd roars)

Does that make it unimpressive? That's an excellent stat line for a freaking rookie.

I think Jose Bautista did some sort of abilities transfer like rogue from x-men and stole their boomshakalaka..

does Danny Valencia ever get to me mentioned in this ROY conversation? i mean, he has been just as instrumental in stomping on the white sox' face as anyone..

How does Bautista not get atleast 'consideration' for AL MVP... He's putting up better numbers then Cabrera and is on a better team.. The only possible person I see winning it over Bautista would be Hamilton... But you just can't give it to a guy whose been hurt for the last month of the season sorry...

If your going by the numbers... Bautista is the obvious choice

I think if Hamilton played more games he would've won MVP, but with that said Miguel Cabrera has to take it.

AL MVP
1-Cabrera
2-Hamilton
3-Crawford/ Cano/ Bautista (he'll get a few votes)

AL Cy Young
1-Sabathia
2-Felix (13-12 pitchers don't win the Cy Young, no matter how good their other stats are)
3-Price/Lester

NL MVP
1-Votto
2-Pujols
3-Gonzalez

NL Cy Young
1-Halladay
2-Wainwright
3-Jimenez/ Johnson

AL ROY- Jackson/ Feliz
NL ROY- Heyward/ Posey/ Garcia (hard to chose)

AL Manager- Joe Maddon
NL Manager- Bud Black

AL Rolaids-Soriano/Soria
NL Rolaids-Wilson
