Just finishing the first season of a new Keeper league.
14 teams with 6 keepers allowed.
John Jaso
Joey Votto
Aaron Hill
Gordon Beckham
José Reyes
Brennan Boesch
Austin Jackson
Jason Heyward
Miguel Cabrera
Andrew McCutchen
Bill Hall
Garrett Jones
Josh Willingham
Matt Garza
Rick Porcello
Jon Lester
Darren O'Day
Octavio Dotel
Michael González
Ervin Santana
Brandon League
Liván Hernández
Jeff Niemann
Jeremy Hellickson
Frank Francisco
Stephen Strasburg
I'm planning to keep Votto, Cabrera, Heyward, Lester and Garza.
Strasburg would have been my 6th pick before the injury.
Do I select him and just stash him on the DL next season?
Or would you pick someone else?

If keeping Strasburg as you said doesn't handicap you too much in the draft (I don;t know your roster sizes for instance) I'd do that. Reyes (I hate how injury prone he is) is the other option I guess.
He once hit a ball between my legs so hard that my center-fielder caught it on the fly backing up against the wall.
If Satch (Paige) and I were pitching on the same team, we would clinch the pennant by July fourth and go fishing until World Series time.

I wouldn't keep Strasburg.....you might be able to snag him later in the draft to stash on on your dl. I think you have to keep Reyes
Help with mine?

Thanks for the input guys.
This time last year Reyes would have been an automatic keeper for me. Must confess though, I'm starting to worry that injuries are going to be a recurring theme for the rest of his career.
