"Metroid" is the name of the series of adventure video games by the character Samus Aran who has indeed always been a girl. ;-D

Contrary to popular belief, my screen name is not really directly taken from the video game and is more a play off it. ;-)

As in he and some friends were hammoid. I enjoyed that story and remembered it for some odd reason. :-b


And Met is right. Samus/Metroid (of the game) has always been female.
