hahahaha man, baseball has some stupid "etiquette"
i have no problems with what he did. there shouldn't be any stupid unwritten rules no matter what you're down by. you should always do what it takes to score runs until the final out.
The collision yesterday looked like a clean play to me but probably wasn't necessary. That is usually something a guy would get a pass on if he hadn't hit Bryan Anderson last week for no reason. Marlins think they were wronged so they throw at Morgan. Morgan steals two bases and goes in really hard both times so they threw at him again. Morgan could have just taken the base again but instead decides to charge the mound. Sorry, but I don't care if Gaby blindsided you. You charge the mound you get what you deserve.
It reminded me of the keeping it real sketch on Chappelle's Show.
well the 2nd one he got thrown at was pretty weak. it wasn't even close and it was really slow. if i was nyjer i would have taken that base, stolen another 2 and then injure another catcher.

... and seriously, plugging a guy, then calling him classless for NOT giving up?! ... seriously?
seriously?
Morgan is an idiot
He's 160 lbs charging the mound against a 230 lb pitcher and the rest of the marlins hates him also. Self preservation says don't pick a fight that you can't win.
And if you're a pro athlete don't throw punches at the face because you are going to be suspended for a long time.

Agreed. Self preservation had nothing to do with it. Charging the mound is the best way to get hurt.
