To spin off the other post, and for the venting that my therapist tells me I need (LOL) I wanted to see who YOU thought was theproverbial kiss-of-death to a fantasy roster.
This week, I'm gonna go so far as to say my entire RP staff:
Jenks, Chris Perez, and Drew Storen are in a fight to the finish to see who can out-WHIP and out ERA the other. Go BIG or go home must be their motto. I can at least cling to all that is Broxton, and his 3 K's so far, but time makes me think I might be on borrowed time there for some reason.
Talk about a crummy way to start the playoffs, I don't know how a team can really swing those numbers back around and have a chance to win. Gonna have to hope for an offensive explosion to make up for the categories I'm getting smoked in now, I guess. Haven't even had a SP I can use yet, as most all of them pitched late last week. I've never had a REAL bad H2H playoff experience, although I've read several horror stories here on the forum in the past.
TomS. '12 H2H season standings: Team 1 = 140 - 118 - 12, 4 OF 12 Team 2 = 84 - 97 - 9, 6 OF 8
well.... while we are venting about the current status of our clubs.. Playoffs start next week for me and my team is struggling with the recent injuries/implosions of the following players.. Jose Reyes, Brandon Phillips, Carlos Quentin, Drew Storen, Trevor Cahill, Jeff Niemann, Matt Lindstrom, Stephen Strasburg... ugh, talk about the opposite of riding a heatwave into the playoffs..
Corey Hart and Colby Rasmus have been completely awful in the past two months, whether due to injury or slump... they are taking up space on my roster based on their 1st half stats. If neither heats up during my bye week next week, I'll be dropping both for a hotter FA bat.
18 teamer so pitching is a premium and had and outstanding staff that had been help carry, but Cliff Lee and John Danks and their combined 3-6 over the the last 14 games is flat killing me especially in a league that awards 7pts for a W. Plus add to the fact that now Cliff has an injury that could keep him out next week, the first week of playoffs.
This is my main league so I'll keep it running, Roberts return from injury hasn't been much of return, Wright's way up and more so way DOWNS at the plate, Crawford's injuries and relying on 3 potentially 4 rookies to hold my 5man rotation together. Ahhhhhh...

I cut Zobi last week in a 14 tm with MI spot. He does nothing special this year.
He's sort of an odd situation. ISO has fallen through the floor this year after a few years of solid production yet the rest of his ratios are pretty much in line with his career numbers. He'll be a tough evaluation next year.
