Manny Ramirez

I can sign Manny, but I have to dump one of the following two options (based on salary cap):

(1) Dump John Lackey, replace him with Carlos Carrasco and have Manny replace Carlos Quentin or JD Drew in my starting lineup (releasing the other one).
(2) Dump Billy Butler, have Luke Scott replace him. Waive Rich Harden. Manny for Drew or Quentin.
(3) Have Manny replace Bobby Abreu and waive Rich Harden.
(4) Don't sign Manny.
(5) Have Manny replace Denard Span, waive Pineiro from bench.

Thoughts?

Of those options, I like #3 the best. I've had Harden in several leagues during the last few years, and he's repeatedly tormented me with constant injuries and recent unreliability. Keeping that in mind, I think Manny's an upgrade over Abreu at this point, although that is also a bit iffy.

Hmm..option 3 or option 4, IMO.

I like option 3 too, Harden is just too risky and iffy.

What if I waive Denard Span instead of Bobby Abreu? I think I can do that instead.
