ProFSL (Message Board) League Openings

This thread will be continuously updated with ProFSL league openings as to not flood the classifieds forum with multiple threads.

Franchise GM - (Fantrax) - The original franchise league of ProFSL is very active and has an extensive rule book that includes contract extensions, buyouts, restricted free agency, Bill Jamesian points system, and prospect contracts designed to mimic the environment of MLB. -- SIGN-UP SHEET... league is full right now but we are expecting a couple openings in the off-season with the Giants and some other teams.

Dynasty MLB Elite - (Fantrax) - Free franchise league that started in 2010. It features a uniform cap and expanded rosters (over 80 players) for many prospects. -- SIGN-UP SHEET ... there may be a few teams open going into 2011

Old School - (Fantrax) - Modeled after the old days of baseball, this simple, non-salary franchise league has a couple FA periods during the year and focuses on long-term roster management... league may have a couple openings going into 2011

Agents vs. GMs - (Fantrax) - Unique league has GMs compete not just with each other but also with agents for their league title and their players' contracts. Two leagues work with each other, a 10-player agents league and the 30-player franchise league (that is based off the rules of Franchise GM). Agents work with GMs to ensure their clients are paid well and are happy (on good teams). -- SIGN-UP SHEET ... League has a bunch of openings on both sides that NEED filled.

Committed Fantasy - (Fantrax) - Free 12-team H2H dynasty league with contracts, salary cap, first year player draft, and expanding minor leagues. This is a very good introduction to what a detailed franchise league has except with a standard amount of managers. -- SIGN-UP SHEET... currently two teams open

College Ball - (ProFSL) - The only fantasy college baseball game that exists in ProFSL and possibly on the web. This H2H keeper league has managers playing the role of Athletic Director, Scout, and Manager while representing their favorite college baseball team! -- SIGN-UP SHEET

AGENTS vs. GMs: Free, franchise league where certain people also play the role of agent in which they compete for the highest contracts for the best players on the best teams. The GMs must make contract negotiations (via PM) with the agents in the off-season, or in the season for pick-ups and extensions. We are gearing up for a two-round entry draft in the upcoming two weeks. Trading is allowed after that and then free agency starts up again in December. Heavy message board activity required.
