Atlanta Braves - Freddie Freeman (1B)
Cincinnati Reds - Yonder Alonso (1B/OF)
Milwaukee Brewers - Jeremy Jeffress (RP)
Tampa Bay Rays - Desmond Jennings (OF)
*Note: These players are now major leaguers
Do you think Jeffress has a chance to close next year? Or do they stick with Axford or some other possibility. In the closer thread you have M. Rogers as closer of the future, but no clue how close he is to the bigs.
Unless Jeffress has a lights out spring training while all other candidates falter, I don't see him starting the season as the Brewers closer. Still, I think he has lot of upside and if he can stay out of trouble, I think Jeffress could close sometime during in 2011. He has more potential than Axford.

Lucas May-C KAN, called up also, will at very least split time with Pena behind the plate with Kendall out for the year. Could be very useful if he sees enough action as he hit 16HR and stole a hand full of bases while hitting .280+ combined in the minors this year.
I also really like the Danny Espinosa add for people needing a spark plug for 2B or SS (as Riggleman has said he will play both) with his 20/20+ in the minors and the fact that Riggy also said he will see significant time.

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

Espinosa has well above avg power for a SS. Looks like his future may be at 2B with Desmond at SS, I wouldn't be surprised if Espinosa is actually the better defensive SS. Add in some steals and a bunch of walks and he could be a decent fantasy option down the road.

I've been waiting all season for Brandon Allen, they better let him play.
Especially over Geraldo Parra

Cafe bets 2010:
W/j24jags - Oakland A's more wins then NYM
W/mweir145 - Oakland A's more wins then TOR (hat-trick?)

Moustakas?
It will likely take an act of God to get Moose called up this year. The team plans on him playing winter ball and possibly make the Pan-Am team. He certainly isn't making the decision to keep him down very easy.
The bigger question is if Mous will be on the opening day roster. Or if we'll hear the company line 'he's not ready and he needs to work on X' until June 1st.
