Standard 5x5 10 team 5 man keeper league.

Have one undecided keeper spot. These are the possibilities

Adam Dunn
Shin Soo Choo
Justin Verlander
Clay Bucholz

Im already keeping
Mauer, Cano, R.Zimmerman, Hanley

at least part of the decision would be the others you are keeping, mainly any other SP? Heard 1 of the announcers talking about next year is supposed to be when Choo decides what to do with his pending military service; I thought that had been decided but perhaps not?

That's a nice start for your offense. I'd go with Verlander to give you a good #1 or #2 SP for your 2011 squad.

I would also go Verlander in that scenario. Dunn is very tempting.

How long can you wait before you give your decision. If you can wait then just compare Verlander and Buchholz for as long as you can. I think Buchholz has a chance to be a top 15 SP as well but for now it's Verlander

Way I look at it is I would rather have Dunn to go into the draft with a full infield already covered. That gives you more options then keeping Verlander. Dunn is going to give you great power numbers either way, so if you can play him at 1B do it, if you can play him in the OF do it.

With Dunn having 1B/OF eligibility that means you can go into the draft looking for 2 starter bats in the first 5-6 rounds. With a full infield you can look at the remaining 1B and OF and decide where you want to play Adam and draft accordingly, then either way you will have 1 big bat in the OF and score a 2nd in a round or two, meanwhile grab a top notch SP that should be there and fill out your starting staff while filling the rest of your lineup up.

Either way I don't think its wrong to go either Dunn or Verlander, I just prefer a batter, especially a big bat like Dunn's over an arm.
