i played tecmo super bowl more than the original as well. i enjoyed being deion and the falcons, okoye and jj birden, and obviously my hometown eagles.

top 5 game for me all time.

Tecmo Super Bowl and Baseball Stars are probably the two most important games when it comes to sports because not only did they have great gameplay but they introduced stat tracking over an entire season. I don't know how many hours I spent just simulating seasons btw those two games.

i was an rbi kinda guy, then i moved onto the hardball series.

My friend and I used to play seasons on Super Bases Loaded (or maybe it was Super Bases Loaded 2). The game kept your record, but no stats, so we would actually keep a book and total up our stats at the end of the season...haha. Here's an actual photo of me looking through our score book:

Baseball Stars 2 FTW. They had this game at a local pizzeria, I used to pump quarters into that thing like there was no tomorrow.
