I am in a 10 team H2H non-keeper league and currently have Chris Johnson as my 3rd baseman.
Someone just dropped Pablo Sandoval (panda)
Should I pick him up or stay with Johnson.

sandoval's had two good weeks, johnson even with this bad past week is hitting .330 over 200 ABs this year. Panda's only got 4 more HR in an additional 260 at bats-he's still probably the better choice for power, but id have to take the guy thats produced all year over the guy thats produced nothing until the past two weeks. panda's got potential, im just not quite buying in based on such a small recent sample size.

Even in a shallow league right now, I think Panda has to be rostered if there's an opportunity to do so. His downside risk for the remainder of the season doesn't look like a problem, and I think the upside reward potential could be pretty huge. He's a very gifted hitter and getting HOT at money time. Johnson is solid...but is it impossible to find a utility slot or even bench spot for Panda? He could be a difference maker.
