Better Value?!?

Trying to narrow down players to keep for next year. Who is a better VALUE? $260 NL only keeper league - 8 teams.

Jose Reyes for $29.....or.....Ian Desmond for $1

Jose Reyes is probably a $29 player this season - that's a fair price. He has been a $40+ player in the past and is likely to return to that next year.

Ian Desmond is probably a $15-20 player next year, with the upside of being a $25 player.

IMO Ian Desmond is certainly a better value @ $1, but I'd probably rather have Reyes at $29 if I had to choose.....
