Daal heading to disabled list

Fort Lauderdale, FL (Sports Network) - Baltimore Orioles pitcher Omar Daal will be going on the disabled list and could miss up to a month due to a sore shoulder.

On Tuesday, Daal experienced soreness behind his left shoulder and had an MRI, which revealed slight fraying around the rotator cuff, but no tear.

Last season the 33-year-old Daal missed over two months due to tendinitis in his left rotator cuff.

The lefthander was 4-11 last year with a 6.34 ERA in 19 games.
