Costa Rica had a couple of free kicks in interesting areas but couldn't get any lift on the ball because of the thick snow. :-b

Going to see Chelsea vs. Man City at Busch on Thursday. :-D
I will now hear arguments for which team I should root for.

Well, City are the most popular team in Manchester. Their Premier League title parade last year dwarfed this year's for United.

Chelsea have an admirable fat Spanish waiter managing them for these couple of games in the US until Jose Mourinho takes the job again. They also have an equally admirable captain who will dress in full kit when the team is presented with a trophy, despite being unable to play.

You can't lose supporting either one.

Last night's game was a blast but I might be even more exited about the finals on Saturday. Going to watch it with my friend that is a huge Bayern fan.

The Grantland preview is great. I couldn't stop laughing while reading the paragraph about defending Robben.

LOL
The Red Wings should defend Robben. They don't let anyone cut inside. Just ask Jonathan Toews.

I'd like to see Dortmund beat Bayern. This is likely the best chance they have of winning the Champions League again, with Mario Goetze injured and departing for Bayern (possibly Robert Lewandowski too). Dortmund are a bit of the football hipster's choice, but they do play attractive football, developed a talented team on a tighter budget, and have one of the game's best managers at the moment in Juergen Klopp (who I would've liked to see succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Man United). They also have the best support and stadium in Germany, IMO.

Dortmund have tended to give Bayern trouble and will make it close. Marco Reus who plays in Goetze's role is well capable of playing the #10. If Schweinsteiger/Javi Martinez cut off Dortmund's supply in midfield and prevent runners off the ball getting in behind the defense, Bayern should win.

I've got a bet on Dortmund because the odds are better to bet on, 7/2.
