Who to use Waiver pick on: Rollins or Lince? WHIR!

Postby krunchyfrogg » Tue Aug 17, 2010 1:39 pm

My roster is in my signature, and barring a big screw up, I pretty much have first place locked up this season (yay!).

We can keep 4 players from one year to the next, and these two guys have just hit the WW!!

I have Reyes at SS, so I don't know if I'd even keep Rollins, and I know Lincecum hasn't pitched well lately, but I'm considering just sticking him on my bench and hoping for the best.

Leave a link!
Looking forward to back to back championships in 2011!

Lincecum for sure. Freak comes in wins 2 CYs and because his ERA isn't a touch over 2 everyone devalues him. Monster K's, QSs galore, pitching for a contender, with a well above average ERA...there is already one fool in your league who dropped him don't be another by not picking him up.

Lincecum by a long way. He's been certainly more consistent than Rollins and has more value. If for some reason you dont like Lincecum, you can always trade him for a decent player. For Rollins, you wont get much.

Thanks guys, that's what I was thinking too.

Rollins clears tomorrow, and I'll pick him up if I don't lose my Waiver spot on him. I'll put in a claim on Lincecum though (I have the #3 Waiver pick, and #'s 1 and 2 have kinda mailed it in for this year... I'm hoping they don't see the drops).

Definitely use your waiver on Lincecum! You have 5-6 solid keepers, once you have the season locked up, bundle 2 of them for a stud!

Thanks for the help with mine!
